Emma holds a PhD in microbial bioinformatics. Prior to joining Broken String she was the Head of Bioinformatics at Bactobio, a biotech startup working on solving the antimicrobial resistance crisis. She has extensive experience with designing and setting up bioinformatics and data analysis pipelines that provide users with concise results.
