Arijit is a molecular biologist with extensive experience in genome engineering using CRISPR-Cas system. He has a PhD in life sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India and has spent several years in academia and biotech industry gathering experience in gene editing and next generation sequencing technologies. Before joining the Broken String team, he was a Senior Biologist at Lightcast Discovery leading projects for novel Next Generation Sequencing assays and adapting genome engineering technologies for the microfluidic platform that was being developed by the company.
